When does the lavender bloom?

Our lavender fields blooms in the month of June. We usually have an event each week that month to give people an opportunity to visit, pick flowers, and take pictures.

Is lavender easy to grow?

Yes and no. In other parts of the world, lavender is a low-maintenance, easy-to-grow perennial. However, it is not well-suited to our climate here, so a lot of care needs to be put into maintaining the field.

What other flowers do you have at your farm?

In addition to the lavender, we also have a 1/4-acre sunflower field. The exact bloom date depends on when we plant the field, which varies each year. The best way to find out when it is blooming is to check out our Event page and sign up for Event Announcements. We also have a large cut flower garden and a dahlia patch which provides blooms from June - October.

What are your business hours?

Since we are a working farm and we also have full-time jobs in addition to running the farm, we don’t have any regular business hours. Instead we host farm events from June - October where you can visit during our dedicated hours. We post all of these times on our Events page. You can also sign up for event announcements there as well! In addition to our farm hosted events, you can also visit the farm by appointment. I want to come to one of your events, but just walk around and look at the flowers. Do I still need to purchase a ticket?

Yes, a ticket is required even if you just want to walk around. We put a lot of time and effort into our events and to give you the best experience possible. By attending you are getting access to all the amenities that everyone else has access to with their ticket and we can’t monitor who paid for a ticket and who is just looking around. Additionally, we still have to hire people to help manage parking, have restroom facilities available, and keep insurance for our business so you can come to our farm. All of this costs time and money even if you just want to look around.

Do you have restrooms?

We have portable bathrooms onsite from June- October.

Are pets allowed?

During our farm hosted events, we ask that all non-service animals stay home. If you have a private event or photo session on the farm though, you are welcome to bring your pet.

Do you have a farm store?

At this point we do not have a farm store.

Can I pick up an order at your farm?

Yes, if you place an order online for any of our physical products (flowers, soaps, etc), you can choose to pick-up at the farm during checkout. We will send you an email once your order is ready and coordinate a time for you to come by. When you arrive, park in the driveway and give us a call and we will bring it out to you.
